Mid Autumn Art Fest 2008
EXPECT a colourful array of activities and events at the Chcras LeisureMaH in Kuala Lumpur from now until Sept 14 in conjunction with the Mid Autumn Art Festival.
Arty creations
The Creative Lantern-Making Contest is back with an interesting theme this year, based on the 12 animals in the Chinese Zodiac.
Winners of the contest will receive a total of RM45,OOO worth of prizes and trophies, as well as cash prizes.
Be enthralled by the inspiring creations featured in the Creative Lantern Exhibition from now till Sept 19.
Tek Sheng Hing Ginseng is the main sponsor of the contest, along with co-sponsors Ogawa, The Baker's Cottage, Haewaytian, Tai Thong Restaurant, Johnson Fitness, Eu Yan Sang and Instant-Dict-Apple Tree supporting the event.
Master craftsmen
Also showcased in the exhibition is some of China's rare folk art. Displayed on the Ground Floor of the mall, the exhibition features Dough Figure Sculptures and Blown Candy Figurines, hand-moulded by skilful masters from China, as well as ink paintings and Tibetan jewelleries that are available for sale.

Dance contest
For children who like to boogey, don't miss out on the exciting Children's Hip Hop Dance Contest, open to all Malaysians aged five to 12 years old. The contest is taking place at the Lower Ground Floor Concourse Stage on Sept 13 and 14, at 2pm.
