Cafe offers simple and tasty meals for people on the move
BUSY fans who cannot get enough of the cupcakes and healthy meals at Marmalade Cafe can now head to The Lawn at Suria KLCC for their daily dose of sweet treats or light meals.

The Lawn, a sister cafe of Marmalade, is described as a "breezy island" located among the hustle and bustle of KLCC, and caters to healthy people on the move.
Its menu features a simplified variety of Marmalade's popular dishes, with a few new fosion-style additions.

"We wanted to start a little kiosk right in the city, where the business people and working crowd can stop by for some easy, convenient and healthy food," said Alicia Ng, the owner and founder of the care that opened in mid-2007.

'The Lawn is a no-fuss spot for those who want quick lunches, whereas Marmalade is a place where families and ffierlds can have sitdown meals while the children have fun at their own kiddies' corner.

"Our salads, sandwiches and pastas are made fresh at the care, while our warm food and cakes are prepared daily at Marmalade and delivered here."

The Lawn offers both sit-down and takeaway meals, and provides deliveries (with a minimum order of RM30) for those who work at the Petronas Twin Towers.

Begin your day with a hearty and healthy brealdast that is served daily (until noon) with a choice of singleblend juice, hot coffee or tea.

Choose from a Breakfast Burger, Pancake Stack, Muesli Salad or Simple Brekkie -- a serving of omelette or scrambled eggs, chicken sausage, baked beans and toast.

The Lawn's range of salads include Chicken CousCous and Groovy Caesar, while its simple sandwiches, served with a choice of multigra n foccacia or Lebanese bread, are available with fillings like Sa mon, Mediterranean and Otah Egg.

For main dishes, diners have the option of fusion-flavoured items like Soba with Salmon Cake, Rice Balls with Beef Stew and Chicken Curry w th Toasted Bread or popular western dishes like Beef Lasagne, Spaghetti Prawn Aglio Olio and Bacon Mushroom Potato Frittata.

Look out for the cafe's unique Funky Pie Tee - a snack served with a single choice of healthy toppings ke chicken, celery and raisins. tuna apple and sundried tomato, as well as egg, bacon and mayonnaise.

Healthy diners can wash down their meals with a glass of refreshing juice or delicious smoothie.
A meal at The Lawn would not be complete without its cupcakes, some of which are cupcake versions of Marmalade's s gnature cakes like Carrot. Oreo Cheese and Tiramisu.

Those with a serious sweet tooth may want to check out the giant cupcake that is available at The Lawn and Marmalade.

Customers can choose a lemon, strawberry, vanilla or custom-colonred topping for their butter cupcake.

A one to two,days' advance order is preferred for the giant cupcake weighing 2kg The Lawn's ongoing lunch promption offers a choice of any main dishes an a glass of ice lemon tea for RM15.90+, while the tea set priced at RM9.90+ covers a choice of cupcake and hot drink.

Throughout this month, employees who flash their Petronas Twin Towers staff card are entitled to a 10% discount off the cafe's a la carte items.

Indulge in chocolate-inspired creations at lounge
HEOBROMA Chocolate Lounge offers, for the first time in Malaysia, a "Total Chocolate Concept" experience where customers can indulge in a variety of chocolate and choco late-based beverages and food.

At the launch of Theobroma's Pavilion KL outlet recently, Hing Yiap Group executive chairman Chi Oi Meng said in her opening address that much like the successful infiltration of the coffee culture in society, it was now time for the chocolate culture to be the next big thing.

Theobroma Chocolate Lounge in Malaysia is a collaboration between Theobroma Food of the Gods Pty Ltd, an Australian-based company, with their Malaysian franchise Hing Yiap Group.
"We aspire to spread the chocolafe culture in Malaysia. Our chocolate is brought in from Belgium, handmade in Melbourne, then airflown to Malaysia to maintain freshness,

Models strutted their stuff at the Choco Show, featuring various items on Theobroma's menu, and ending with the grand finale of the Theohroma Chocolate Affair (four seasonal fruits and marshmallows served with chocolate dip).

"We have a variety of sweets and savouries - our lounge caters for everyone, from children to the elderly," said Theohroma Food of the Gods, Australia director George Roiniotis.
Internationally acclaimed artiste Genervie Kam was present at the launch to engage the crowd with her violin performance.

American pop quintet Pussycat Dolls made a brief guest appear: ance for the poster-signing ceremony to commemorate the Theobroma Chocolate Lounge launch.
Guests were treated to a selection tion of food and beverages during the launch, including the speciality Theobroma Chocolate Affair.
