THIS Mid-Autumn Festival, tempt your taste buds with Hilton KL's mooncake creation, Blue Moon - Snow Skin Lotus
Amaretto Paste with Blueberry Cheese Feuillantine Centre. Blue Moon is the creation of Chef Lam wtto combined amaretlo pastc with a touch of blueberry cheese feuillantine in the centre. Feuillantine is a crispy chocolate that imported from France. This perfect combination is then wrapped with a layer of snow skin in light blue.
The mooncake is certainly a clever concoction that will delight the taste buds of many.
There are also other new mooncakes: Baked Pistachio Nuts with Green Tea Paste, and Snow Skin Red Bean Paste with Mango Custard, both of which were created by the chefs of Hilton KL.
Apart from these new flavours, Hilton KL has other mooncakes too, like the popular Snow Skin Chocolate Sunflower Seed with Bailey's Soft Centre, Golden Treasure Gold Snow Skin with Kahlua and Tiramisu paste. Traditional mooncakes are also available.
You can get your Hilton KL mooncakes from Chynna and CaffeCino, until Sept 14.
Hilton KL offers its customers free delivery via a "Mooncake Mobile" for a minimum order of 20 boxes within the 20km radius of Hilton KL. Complimentary mooncakes will be given to any purchases above 20 boxes throughout the mooncakc festival:
20 boxes and above: one complimentary box
50 boxes and above: five complimentary boxes
I00 boxes and above: 15% discount on total bill
200 boxes and above: 20% discount on total bill
300 boxes and above: 25% discount on total bill
Furthermore, a 10% discount will be extended to all Diamond Club and Premium Card members for any mooncake purchase or discount on purchases of I00 boxes and above in Hilton KL, Citibank cardmembers are also entitled for the 10% discount until Sept 14.
